The safari experience at Umlani Bushcamp was truly unforgettable. The African traditional huts provided an authentic "bush" experience. We loved the fact that the lodge only accommodates a small number of people, creating a family-like atmosphere with plenty of privacy. The rangers and trackers were very experienced and were able to track down the Big 5 animals just from their tracks. The tree hut, located further from the camp in the bush, was an amazing experience, especially at night when we could hear the lions roaring. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
Felt amazing, no reason to complain.

the staff took great care of us, from the rangers to the general manager. the game drives were exceptional, allowing us to see a wide variety of animals, including the Big 5 and even a rhino. the eco-friendly approach of the camp was impressive, and we loved hearing the sounds of animals at night. the food was always delicious, and we even had the opportunity to spend a night in the treehouse, which was a unique and special experience.
Couldn't stay longer 😢.

We stayed three nights at Umlani and enjoyed every minute. The camp is not luxury but is in keeping with its environment. The outdoor shower is great. Limited Wi-Fi, but enough for messages. The tree house option was amazing. The game drives were brilliant, lucky to see the Big 5 plus much more. We enjoyed the group firepit and dining time sharing of stories and experiences.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

We got great value for our money at Umlani Bushcamp. The room had a rustic African style and was in good condition. The location was incredible, right in the middle of the bush, surrounded by amazing wildlife. The staff treated us like family, always going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
Breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The safari game drives were beyond incredible, with our ranger and tracker going above and beyond to ensure we had the best views of the animals. The camp itself had a boutique feel, and every staff member made us feel welcomed and comfortable. And let's not forget the mouthwatering food - a delightful surprise at every meal. A huge thank you to the friendly staff, we truly couldn't have asked for a better family experience!
For dads, it would be great if Umlani had more activities specifically tailored towards children.

The facilities were mind-blowing! The eco hut rooms were splendid and the swimming pool was the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Watching wildlife from the bar with a cold beverage was jaw-dropping - don't forget your binoculars! The staff were super knowledgeable, approachable, and brimming with South African hospitality. Can't wait to return!

I chose this hotel for attending a conference due to its convenient location and comfortable facilities. The peaceful surroundings and attentive staff made my stay enjoyable, and the well-equipped conference room provided a conducive environment for productive meetings.
The only thing I missed during my stay was a dedicated business center or workspace. Having a designated area with computers and printing facilities would have been beneficial for my work-related tasks.
